Can an unbeliever or a skeptic dodge the supernatural by denying the supernatural? In my opinion, the answer is no. It cannot be done. This brief message is to demonstrate the absurd position of the unbeliever and skeptic and to strengthen your faith in your rational belief in God. Since logic and common sense dictate that all things must have a beginning or origin and the Bible tells us in the first verse of Genesis that God the Creator is the source of the beginning of time space and matter, then this gives us two options. We can either believe the Genesis information, or we must imagine that time space and matter, are eternal and had no beginning. If time space and matter are eternal and had no beginning, that would certainly be a supernatural event just as Creation by God was a supernatural event. Either option would be a supernatural event.
The Big Bang won't fly because it doesn't have any explanation for the origin of time space and matter, or where the energy came from to power the imagined event.
To repeat, what is the only alternative to the creation statement revealed in Genesis 1:1? It is the eternal existence of time, space, and matter. If this is true, there is no beginning of the cosmos. That also would be a supernatural event because it would deny the principle of cause and effect. Therefore, choosing to believe in evolution as a means of dodging the supernatural is futile.
Evolutionists love to say creation is religion and evolution is science. That's wrong. They are both religions. Neither one is science. They both require the supernatural. True science involves the scientific method of repeated observation, repeated experimentation, using our five senses to evaluate and collect data and draw conclusions from the data. True science simply does not include the supernatural. Evolution cannot be demonstrated there are no experiments to show it occurring, there is no evidence of it in the past, and there is no known scientific process whereby it might occur. It is simply a bad idea that never happened. Evolution is scientifically impossible. However, evolution is the only other option to creation and if one cannot believe creation, he is left with evolution. If evolution were true it would be going on all around us and obviously visible in every living thing.
Evolution is an attempt to explain origins without the supernatural. It is the idea that natural events are all that is needed as an explanation of the reality of the incredible complexity that is all around us. Unbelievers have deluded themselves when they imagine they have dodged the supernatural by refusing to believe God's explanation of origins. God permits them to choose to reject him even if it is not rational to do so. Man is free to rebel and not believe even though the incredible complexity of life demands a designer. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and reveal this simple truth to your brain and your heart. Let's return to the simple acceptance of what the scripture says and let's defend it.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned". 1Corinthians 2:14
The church is confused and silent as the educational system teaches the religion of evolution to young people. Evolution teaches that man appeared on the scene after millions of years of death. Evolution is the religion of death. The Bible teaches that man appeared on the sixth day of creation supernaturally made in the image of God. Man was to be eternal. Death was the result of Adam's disobedience.
The Bible teaches that the Second Adam suffered death to correct what the first Adam had done. As a result of what the Second Adam accomplished we may have life eternal and not be separated from God. Biblical Christianity is the religion of life. If death did not have an origin in Adam, then Christ died for no purpose. To believe Genesis as written is rational. To not believe Genesis is irrational. Don't make this difficult. God made it simple so morons like us could understand it.
